Royal Albert Hall. The home of Indian and British culture, intertwined in the history of both these countries. The circular dome creates and infinite illusion till you reach the skylight up top. With concerts of fans that could cause an earthquake, magic still takes place on the stage. A performer stands in the spotlight and basks in an array of colours bouncing off the walls, an audience of millions cheering you on from atop the spherical stands. With simple patterns and arcs all around, you feel as though you have stepped into a dying era of the past. Taking inspiration from Islamic architecture, Royal Albert Hall is a true example of fusion between two polar opposites. The feeling of finishing your performance, as you receive a standing ovation from the overly kind crowd. You bow down as you stare at the wooden stage beneath you and lights shine on your face, you exit the stage thankful to be part of such a cultural marvel!
